Did you know that the first thing Ofsted ask for when they arrive at your door (apart from a cup of tea) is to see your Single Central Record? We provide both 1-2-1 sessions and open training, going over how to use and amend your own SCR. One of our most popular services is our SCR audit, this is where, for a small fee, you can send your SCR to us using our secure system and we will review it, make any amendments or suggested improvements where necessary and send it back to you with self-explanatory recommendations

Competent Person
All employers employing 5 or more staff must have effective health and safety management systems in place which include written risk assessments and a written health and safety management system. The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 states that employers and the self-employed are expected to take reasonable steps to help themselves identify risks, e.g., by looking at appropriate sources of information, such as relevant legislation, appropriate guidance, supplier manuals and manufacturers’ instructions and reading trade press, or seeking advice from competent sources. KAHSC can provide this competent advice and information to small business owners, particularly in care settings who do not have the appropriate skills or time to undertake this vital role for themselves. We are listed on the HSE’s Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register (OSHCR) which is a register of consultants who can offer advice to UK businesses to help them manage health and safety risks.
